The Gatekeepers (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798995914884)

For thousands of years, the gates stood silent.

Hidden beneath the ancient bogs of Mars, the City of Open Gate waited in darkness, its halls empty but never abandoned. The Gatekeepers-keepers of passages, thresholds, and safe journeys-had scattered among the stars after the Great Leaving, believing they would never see their home again.

Now the call has begun.

Across distant worlds, dreams awaken. Forgotten symbols appear. Old songs return. One by one, the Gatekeepers begin a journey they cannot explain, drawn by a quiet voice that speaks not to the mind, but to the heart.

When they finally return to Mars, they discover a world transformed. The seven living bogs flourish once more. The bees have returned. The children known as the Fixers have rekindled the ancient harmony between the races, while Asa and Saxifraga continue their quiet work of healing, guiding, and remembering.

But the greatest gate has never been made of stone.

As the Gatekeepers reclaim their sacred calling, they learn that every doorway is a choice, every crossing demands courage, and the most difficult passage is the one that leads beyond fear into trust. Their task is not merely to open gates between places-it is to open paths between peoples, generations, and hearts.

Rich with mystery, hope, and quiet wisdom, The Gatekeepers continues B. K. Anderson's inspiring journey through the Seven Races of Mars-a story of homecoming, reconciliation, and the discovery that the greatest journeys begin when someone chooses to open the way for another.

Sometimes the gate we seek has been waiting within us all along.
