Thomas E. Dearden, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech), USA. His work focuses on the interaction of whitecollar crime and cybercrime. He has more than a dozen academic publications and over 40 presentations to his credit. He has consulted for several organizations across the globe.
