The Ghosting Time (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798218467548)

An action-packed time travel thriller that will fuel your imagination and expand your mind

By the 22nd century, time travel has become a popular recreational activity. Privileged tourists no longer simply visit historical sites; they join guided tours to experience history firsthand. The flying saucers and UFOs people sometimes spot are actually history-hopping tour buses. However, time travel comes with a chilling risk: tourists who get stranded in the past turn into ghosts, forever trapped in a time that isn't their own. And that is exactly what happened to 16-year-old Rachel Hasselback.

Joe, a caring, but emotionally stunted father to Rachel since her mother tragically died, realized that they were growing further apart. In his desire to rebuild their relationship, Joe sends her on a dream school tour to 19th-century Europe with her favorite class. Rachel is excited to witness Impressionist artists in action, painting their masterpieces. However, the trip descends into terror as she inadvertently observes time-traveling mercenaries violating their code, only to be brutally assaulted and stranded.

Frightened and alone in Norway, over 200 years and 5,000 miles from home, Rachel must navigate a world of strangeness, hopelessness, and desolation. Within hours, she starts to 'ghost', turning from a vibrant young girl into a shadowy specter condemned to darkened hallways and deserted basements.

Determined to save Rachel, and realizing he has only himself to count on, Joe enlists the help of Milo Morton, a pioneering ex-time tour operator with a shadowy past, and manages to smuggle himself onto a similar tour, attempting to retrace her steps. The journey becomes a desperate race against time, with Rachel rapidly disappearing, while ruthless killers, hellbent on keeping their employer's activities secret, make every effort to stop Joe from finding her.

"The Ghosting Time" is a thrilling tale of adventure, courage, and the unbreakable bonds of family. Alternating between a utopian future and a captivating Victorian setting, it explores the complexities of time travel, offering a fresh perspective on UFOs, and a hauntingly dark take on ghost sightings. This novel will appeal to readers who enjoy science fiction, historical adventure, and heart-pounding suspense.
