By day, Julie Rathsack is a business insights manager, but by night, she's a history-loving ghost hunter! Her fascination with the paranormal began in childhood, growing up in a haunted house where she could hear and sometimes see spirits. This sparked her lifelong interest in ghost hunting.
Julie co-authored her first book, Ghosts of Grand Rapids, in 2013 and followed it with A Haunted History of Grand Rapids in 2024. Her books blend eerie tales with true history, captivating readers of all ages.
When she's not writing, Julie leads haunted tours with Paranormal Michigan Inc. and serves as president and founder of the Lifted Veil Paranormal Investigations group. She's explored countless spooky spots, making her the local expert on ghosts.
