The Rev. Dr. George Naff Gray, Jr. has always been a student of the Bible. He began his academic Biblical studies at Jesuit High School in Shreveport, Louisiana. He then graduated from Randolph Macon College in Ashland Virginia; The General Theological Seminary in New York, New York; and Seabury Western Seminary in Evanston, Illinois. Before entering seminary, he founded the nonprofit Shreveport Landmark Rehabilitation Project, Inc. whose purpose was to rehabilitate substandard housing, create jobs, and educational programs for the poor. In seminary, he founded Landmark Consultants, Inc. which allowed him to speak and teach across the country on issues concerning the poor. He has led churches in Louisiana, Florida, Arizona, and South Carolina. He has been married to his wife Elizabeth Ann for 35 years and has three married children, and one grandchild.
