Sheila Trask was born in Stephenville, NL, Canada. She is number nine of ten children and is the Mother of one son Jacob. Fueled by her passion for writing Sheila has read 1,000s of books in her life time; mostly searching for answers to many of the questions life presents to us. She is an Instructor at the College of the North Atlantic, a Certified Life Coach, a Certified Thinking into Results Facilitator, motivational speaker, and published author. Sheila volunteers in the community doing goal setting sessions with youth; and gives her time to organizations such as the Parkinson society; the Canadian Cancer Society; and ASIST NL. Sheila founded Community Minders to promote education and awareness for suicide prevention and Exploits Valley Positive Thinkers Club to promote positive thinking in the central area of Newfoundland and Labrador. The Gratitude Attitude is her first book in her newly created series on Life Lessons from the Field.
