The Ground Between Us (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798218809058)

Jeremy Tattnall sits at a life crossroad. His career and marriage are at an end - where is he to turn next? Seeking diversion, he attends a high school class reunion, where he encounters old friend Billy Tarr. Billy suggests they go on the road, have some fun. His helpfulness and charm, however, prove a veneer for a violent underground existence. But when Billy introduces him to a peaceful commune, Jeremy thinks he's found an antidote to his stalled life. The tranquility unravels when federal agents, seeking Billy, raid the commune. Jeremy is sent to Europe to find his friend and foil a plot to disable the English-French Channel Tunnel. This explosive story ends in a poignant resolution to the pair's friendship while unearthing the Chunnel plot's surprising political implications.
