Corrie ten Boom (1892-1983) was born in Haarlem, The Netherlands. Her family owned a watch repair shop, which housed the "hiding place" where many Jewish people and Resistance workers hid for their lives. After her arrest and release from the Ravensbr?k concentration camp due to a clerical error, Corrie was invited to share her experiences in more than sixty countries.
The Hiding Place was first released in 1971.
