The goal of this work is to help Youtsey descendants connect to their family roots. It is a compilation of information pertaining to Youtsey families living in the United States, which spans more than 250 years. This study begins with the immigrant Johann Peter Youtsey in 1744. He settled in Frederick County, Maryland, and is the progenitor of the Maryland line. The Maryland and main body of the Youtsey family is substantial, with over 2,400 people plus spouses and in-laws. This work opens with an examination of the Youtsey name, followed by family stories, then familial lines.
