Charged with crimes and forced from their homes, the life of an outlaw seems to be the only option. Some, seeking vengeance or inspired by tales of Robin's bravery, refuse to submit and fight back against those who have driven them into the greenwood.

The Hooded Man is a roleplaying game of heroism and adventure that tells the stories of these rebels, be they members of Robin's band, striking out against the Sheriff of Nottingham from their lair in Sherwood Forest, or an outlaw company of the players' own creation. Characters are drawn from all walks of life, bringing their own talents, histories, and motives to the company, and the simple D6 dice-pool system keeps the focus on these heroes and their fight against tyranny and oppression.
