The HR Metrics Handbook: Measuring People Across the Employee Lifecycle (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798187963935)

316 HR metrics. 18 chapters. 54 ready-to-use templates inside this book. 150,000+ HR professionals trained. This systemworks.

Most HR teams do not have a measurement problem. They have a selection problem. There is no shortage of things tocount - applications, time-to-fill, engagement scores, training hours. The hard part is knowing which handful actuallypredicts performance, cost, and retention, and which are simply noise on a dashboard.

So HR reports in adjectives - "turnover is a bit high," "engagement feels better" - while every other function reports innumbers. And then HR wonders why it is the first budget cut and the last voice consulted on strategy.

When you don't measure: decisions get made on instinct, defended with anecdote, and your function is the easiest one tocut.

When you do: budget requests are evidenced, risks show up early, and HR's contribution becomes legible to the wholebusiness.

This book is the exact system I've taught to more than 150,000 HR professionals and used myself as an HR Director andTotal Rewards Lead.
