The Hunters (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781640346949)

Eli "Malone" McGreggor has been many things in his life.
A human.
A Hunter.
An Angel.
And a Guardian Angel.

What terrifies him most is becoming the person he used to be when he was around his father...a Hunter who had no conscience, no soul, no sense of morality. That person lived to hunt whether the hunt was warranted or not.

That's not who he is now, not since he died and was brought back to be the Guardian Angel of Ella Banks, a living reaper who never asked for her gift. She's not just his charge. She's his best friend and his family. And she's the only thing that truly anchors him to the person he is now.

Since becoming Eli McGreggor, he's changed for the better. He understands now that not every supernatural creature is bad. He has friends who are Supes, people he'd go to bat for and stand beside to protect.

Now all that is tested. Since coming to London to escape a serial killer who can change not only his appearance but also blend into the background like a chameleon, he's had to be around his father. The same father who pushed him into being the person he's grown to hate. The same father who is trying to bring him back into the fold of the family business of hunting.

He's terrified.

He's had to hide Ella, and without her close by, he can feel himself slipping back into Eli Malone's skin. Bit by bit, he's disappearing, and to make matters worse, the Invisibles have taken his brother and his father. Ella might be safe for the moment, but they're not.

The only question that remains is whether he can find the Dragon's Fire needed to defeat the enemy before his family or Ella pays the price in blood and their lives.
