The Hypnosis Heist (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798232392642)

Heather is looking for a spark. She finds it in Roberto-a charismatic, older man with a dark past and a mind steeped in the occult. He speaks of poetry, tarot, and "sex magic." He also speaks of a future paved in gold.

What starts as a whirlwind romance quickly spirals into a high-stakes gambling spree in Las Vegas. But when the chips fall, Roberto's true plan emerges. At his urging, Heather takes a job as an armored truck driver for Loomis. Two months later, in the shadow of the Circus Circus casino, she doesn't just circle the block-she drives off with $3.1 million and disappears into the desert heat.

From the neon lights of Vegas to the canals of Amsterdam, Heather and Roberto become the FBI's most wanted fugitives. But as the years pass and the thrill of the heist fades, motherhood changes the math. Caught between a master manipulator and the desire for her son to live a legal life, Heather realizes that the only way to be truly free is to walk back into the lion's den.

Heather surrenders to the FBI with a shocking defense: she was a victim of Roberto's hypnosis, a pawn in a game she didn't know she was playing. Is she a woman who finally woke up from a trance, or is she the most brilliant con artist of all?

The money is gone. Roberto is missing. And the truth is the biggest heist of all.
