Belina Henrico Shauri is a Tanzanian poet and author based in Mauritius. There, she goes to African Leadership College, where she is pursuing a degree in Business Management. For as long as she remembers, Belina has always written. For her, writing has always been a matter of timing. She started off at the age of 10 when she used to write songs and spoken words for the class performances. Later in the years, she dived deep into poetry and her first poem, "A Point of No Return" was manually published in 2011, to commemorate 50 years of Tanzania's Independence. Other than writing, Belina reads fiction novels, loves hot Red Hibiscus, Earl Grey tea and Cappuccino coffee, long road trips, and her wrist watches is the greatest treasure she holds dear.
