The Journey Within: A Guide To Growth And Discipline (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798346619833)

My name is Darrick Mayfield, born March 11 1990 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. This book is actually my personal journal, converted into a self help guide because I didn't want to make this about me, even though it derives from my experiences and beliefs. This guide is a resource for others seeking growth and healing. The main purpose of this book is to help someone going through hardships. I have dealt with heartbreak, mental health issues, addiction, post traumatic stress from violent situations, and a lot more life altering experiences. The main thing I would like to share with you, is how these situations shaped my thinking and made me wiser. While these insights stem from my experiences, they are universal lessons that can help anyone committed to self-improvement. Life is a process of continuous learning, and I hope these reflections serve as a beacon of hope and practical wisdom. I would also like to dedicate this book to my little brother Richard J Harris. I hope you find this read helpful in your search for peace. After you read this, ask yourself "Did this information help me or hurt me?"
