I grew up in Upstate New York, the only girl in a family of nine. Living with six brothers, one gets to appreciate the finer things in life, like all the subtleties of passing gas. I remember being in the back of a bus to somewhere one summer when the people in the front of the bus started quickly opening their windows and gasping for air. It was then that I saw a green ominous cloud arise from the front and ever so slowly drift silently towards the back seeking me out. It was then that I saw my younger brother sheepishly looking over the back of his seat with a grin from ear to ear.
