The Last Crusades chronicles the dysfunctional relations between the West and Islam that led up to 9/11. About the Author: Abdullah Bin Juttie was born in Detroit, graduated from the University of Michigan in Near Eastern Studies, and received his master's in linguistics from North Central University. He is the son of Olympic gold medalist track star Lorenzo Wright. Once he discovered that his African ancestor who came to America was a freed West African merchant marine named Juttie, the author changed his name to honor his family's ancestral name. His prowess in Arabic enabled him to receive a scholarship to attend the American University of Cairo in Egypt.
