The global expansion of education is one of the greatest successes of the modern era. More children have access to schooling and leave with higher levels of learning than at any time in history. Professor John Hattie is Emeritus Laureate Professor at the Melbourne Graduate School of Education at the University of Melbourne, co-Director of the Hattie Family Foundation, and chair of the Board of the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership.
