Taking a deep breath, David recalled the darkness suddenly engulfing ed him, and with no road signs pointing north, east, south or west, anc certainly none to the highway, simply put, he was a lost puppy. The stars winking at him from the other side of the skylight told him that it was night, probably around midnight. But that was just a wild ass guess. Having lost track of time and place, with no idea how long he had been in her lair, nor when his demonic mistress might allow him to leave, he was at Ariel's mercy.
