When the wand is stolen, Gina confides in her grandmother and asks if the fairies could help get it back. In turn, the fairies send Elizabeth to Madame LaRue for her assistance. They learn about the bad fairy who was attracted to the wand's magical ripples, and was causing a lot of trouble. This is the beginning for the "team." Together, with the fairies help, they complete the Christmas 'gift giving mission' in a unique way.
