The Malacca Umbrella

Eneko Sora and his partner George's latest case revolves around a hidden ruby, representing immense wealth and power that will determine the future leadership of a region in Borneo. This sets in motion the Sultan's intricate plan to ensure his youngest daughter, Jasmin, inherits his legacy, bypassing his two corrupt elder daughters.

The Sultan's plan compels his three daughters to embark on a dangerous quest. This quest becomes the focal point of the story's conflict as various parties, driven by greed and ambition, attempt to manipulate the situation for their own gain.

Jasmin's sisters employ gangs from London, the "villains from the smoke". Their relentless pursuit of the treasure and willingness to employ violence and intimidation to obtain it creates a constant threat to Eneko, George, and Jasmin.

The protagonists' efforts to protect Jasmin, outsmart their opponents, and ensure the successful execution of the Sultan's plan form the core of the story's action and suspense.
