The Man in the Making (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798268513530)

In a future Greenwich divided by wealth and technology, groundskeeper James lives in the shadows, his brilliant mind yearning for a world beyond his grasp. His solace is a mysterious stained-glass window, a glimpse of forgotten beauty. In the opulent towers, heiress Samantha Van der Meer is a captive, her compassion at odds with her family's ruthless control over the city's power. When a broken machine brings them together, they discover a shared intellectual and philosophical bond that defies the walls between their worlds.

But their connection is a dangerous secret. As they build a clandestine alliance against her family's corruption, a relentless security chief frames James, forcing him into exile. He finds refuge in the lawless Outskirts, using his genius to build a new society founded on clean energy. As his revolution of light gains momentum, Samantha must risk everything to find him, leading to an emotional reunion and a tragic final confrontation that will decide the fate of their love, their city, and the very concept of light itself. This sweeping romantic sci-fi epic explores love, sacrifice, and the fight for humanity in a world ruled by the cold logic of profit.
