Albert Chavies' life was a roller coaster when he was a young man. He was born to middle class parents in a suburban neighborhood. Albert was incarcerated at 22 years of age. He spent most of his life in various penal institutions. Through self discipline and determination, he put the pieces of his life back together. He questioned why so many people seem to go astray and lose site of the important things in life that lead to inner peace and fulfillment. Albert embarked on a mission to research religious and philosophical authors in order to gain a better understanding of the meaning of life. His studies were combined with observations of his fellow inmates. He listened to their stories and obtained a deeper understanding of the pitfalls that trap unsuspecting people trying to make the best of life.
