THE MERCY WELL

They say Mercy Hill Asylum shut down in 1975. Official records agree. But when Ivana Morozova, a Slavic investigative podcaster and war reporter, starts digging into the place her grandmother once vanished inside... the records start falling apart.

In 2025, Ivana arrives at the asylum ruins with only a recorder, a few names, and her grandmother's photo. What begins as a personal investigation into forgotten psychiatric abuse unravels into something far stranger. The building doesn't just hold memories-it preserves them. Distorts them. And plays them back.

Through lost patient files, broken recordings, and timelines that won't stay still, Ivana uncovers the asylum's connection to a white-led cult that twisted African Voudou rituals for power. Their goal wasn't healing. It was control-of time, of suffering, of something buried beneath the well at the asylum's center.

The deeper Ivana goes, the more she realizes she's not an outsider. She's linked by blood, memory, and something older she doesn't yet understand. Victims didn't just die here-they were used. And something created from their pain still lingers in the dark.

A being known only by what it guards... and by what it's waiting to become.

There are names in the asylum's ledger that never left. Hers might be one of them.

Is Ivana here to uncover the truth-or to finish something that began long before she was born?
