The Merry Brigade and Little Dot (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798196100925)

Deep in a city park, where the paths smell of wet moss and pine needles, lives a very special team: Wicio the squirrel scout, Borys the badger handyman, Hela the wise owl navigator, Zefir the silly white hare and tiny ladybug Kropeczka - the Merry Brigade that watches over their forest every day.

When strange signs start appearing along the paths - carefully arranged pebbles, secret arrows, little surprises in the grass - the friends suspect someone is either in trouble... or planning the biggest game of hide-and-seek the park has ever seen. As they follow the clues between oaks, chestnuts and raspberry thickets, they slowly discover that the mysterious "someone" is much closer than they think - and that even the smallest ladybug can prepare the biggest adventure, if she knows her friends' hearts well enough.

Warm, funny and full of sensory detail - rustling leaves, singing blackbirds, the smell of wild strawberries - The Merry Brigade and Little Dot is a gentle story about friendship, cooperation and noticing the quiet ones who do a lot in the background. Ideal for shared reading with children who love animal stories, forest walks and feeling that they, too, are an important part of the team.
