In a stroke of what seems like a miracle, she quickly finds employment. She's hired as a part-time sales assistant at an old tie shop located in the Rione Prati district. But while diligently performing her tasks, in the absence of the shop owner, she inexplicably becomes a witness to a series of seemingly absurd yet utterly startling visits. Events she wishes she could keep to herself but soon finds she cannot. She's compelled to share them with a young man from the nearby cafe.

Unwillingly, Eva finds herself at the heart of a peculiar storyline, marked by random visits from figures of a bygone era. A sequence that she can neither understand nor explain. Yet, as she reflects on the mysterious reality unfolding around her, Eva recalls a lesser-known Latin saying mentioned by the playwright Plautus, suggesting that one's given name might hint at their destiny.
