The Moon Says Goodnight / La luna dice buenas noches: A Bilingual Bedtime Book in English and Spanish - Un libro bilingüe para dormir (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798998004421)

Twelve mothers. Twelve sleepy babies. One moon watching over all of them.

A fox kit in the den. An owlet in the oak. A penguin chick at the very end of the earth. One by one, each little one settles down - and every mother knows how to help.

When the last one is asleep, the moon comes to your window to say goodnight.

Every page carries the full verse in English and in Spanish, one above the other, so a family can read it in either language - or both. The Spanish is written to be said aloud, not translated word for word, which makes it a gentle way for children to meet a second language at an age when they pick it up easily.

Doce madres. Doce bebés con sueño. Una luna que los cuida a todos. Cuando el último se duerme, la luna llega a tu ventana para decir buenas noches.

Twelve original watercolor paintings. A bilingual bedtime book for ages 3 to 6.
Un libro bilingüe para dormir, para niños de 3 a 6 años.
