Kevin J. Turner II, known as "Kevin John" to many, has been a freelance writer since 2013. He is a native of the Eastern Shore, from Salisbury, MD. Kevin has attended various educational institutions where he has witnessed the actions of misguided individuals searching for the missing puzzle in their lives. Through many conversations during undergraduate and graduate school and insight gained from his years of serving in the Pennslyvania National Guard, Kevin felt obligated to reach out to a generation of people, both young and old on the importance of being and staying motivated to gain success. A product of a low-income economic status and one who has been blessed to have graduated with three degrees from postsecondary institutions, Kevin felt his life and experience could benefit a lost generation searching for hope. He has worked for unselfishly serving the needs of his community and continues to improve the lives of others. He is a member of Phi Beta Sigma, Fraternity, Inc. and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Inc. He wrote the Motivation to Succeed, with the hopes that others would be inspired and become motivated to take charge and change their own lives. Kevin believes that everyone has the opportunity to hit a home run, no matter how many times they have struck out; they just have to be willing to look past failed attempts and aim for a grand slam.
