Surya Narayana is praised by different names like Aditya, Bhaskara, Divaakara, Surya, Savita, Ravi etc. The meanings of every name is explained based on the commentaries of Adi Shankara Bhagavathpada, Sayanacharya and Sage Vedavyasa (Shlokas from the puranas)
