Deborah N. Radford was born in Tacoma, Washington in 1983, but was moved early in her childhood to the inner city of Chicago, Illinois. Growing up was not easy, but Ms. Radford has loving parents who taught her the importance of education and creativity. Her spirituality has also played a huge role in her current work. She holds two degrees in mathematics, but cherishes her teaching position at a high school in Gary, Indiana.
