He received the honorable mention for the SCBWI Writer's Digest-Ann Whitford Paul Award, is a recent Madness! Poetry champion, and won a Writing with the Stars mentorship with Marcie Colleen. David has previously been a youth librarian, Broadway actor, and educator. David is a proud representative of LGBTQ+ creators as a member of the Nevada SCBWI Equity and Inclusion team.

Lauren Stohler lives and works with her husband Gareth in Connecticut, where they create art and pug poetry under their top-secret internet pseudonym, @Inkpug. When not writing stories or drawing pictures, they are probably on a walk to the ice cream shop.
