The Oedipus Trilogy (Hardcover) (ISBN-13: 9781169289871)

The Oedipus Trilogy is a collection of three plays written by the ancient Greek playwright Sophocles. The trilogy includes the plays Oedipus Rex, Oedipus at Colonus, and Antigone. The plays are centered around the tragic story of Oedipus, a king who unknowingly kills his father and marries his mother. As he discovers the truth about his past, he is forced to face the consequences of his actions and the curse that has been placed upon him and his family. The plays explore themes of fate, free will, power, and the consequences of one's actions. The Oedipus Trilogy is considered a classic of Greek literature and has been studied and adapted for centuries.Though I don't care for most criticism, I've been looking for a copy of Freud's review of this one and Hamlet. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.
