The Pallification(TM) Parallax (Hardcover) (ISBN-13: 9781917972482)

The Pallification Process is the greatest beauty innovation of the twenty-first century. Invented by Professor Mathias Lügner, a German physicist of questionable conscience, patented by the Beomin Corporation, and enthusiastically championed by Park Jong-pil - President of the island state of Seom Jiman, and a man who would never dream of benefiting personally from any of this - it has transformed the fortunes of a small island in the Yellow Sea and put it on the map of the world.

It has also, unfortunately, attracted the attention of the President of the United States, who wants it. And the government of North Korea, who want it. And China. And Russia. And the United Nations, who want to keep it safe, which amounts to the same thing.

What none of them know - what almost nobody knows - is that it doesn't work.

The Pallification Parallax is a political satire about beauty, fraud, sovereignty, greed, and the extraordinary things that happen when the entire world descends on a small island to steal something that was never real in the first place.
