Johnny Hazard was a teacher in Minneapolis until 2000, when he moved to someplace where the banks would not find him. He now teaches at Universidad Autónoma de la Ciudad de México. He has published fiction and journalism in Counterpunch, Z Magazine, The Minnesota Daily, The Rag Blog (Austin), Southside Pride (Minneapolis), Pulse of the Twin Cities. He published the Heathen Science Monitor from 1982 to 1987. Before that, he was a bike messenger, dishwasher, and founding member of the Northern Sun Alliance and the Minneapolis Billboard Vandals Association.
