In the paranormal world, sometimes death is not the end. Love; true love often takes what seems like forever to come full circle. The reunion of two lovers may not happen for a very long time. Calista Harris must wait for the witch, Kathryn Younger, who stole Calista's body, to reunite with her love, Jacob Harris. Calista and her husband, Paul would not be born until three hundred years after Kathryn had wreaked havoc on Simsbury. Two sets of lovers, joined together by love eternal, three hundred years apart, refuse to give up on holding their lovers in their arms forever.Kathryn Younger would have gladly lived far away from Simsbury, Connecticut. All she wanted was her baby in her arms. She was a teacher, a friend and a very prominent man's mistress. Jacob Harris is well known in the town. A devoted husband, a loving father and an asset to the community, he's also the lover of Kathryn, the soon to be mother of his child. A simple confession of his love for Kathryn would have saved many lives, including his own. Accused of being a witch by her lover's wife, she is tried, found guilty and hanged, all in an hour. Her judge and jury is Mary, Jacob's wife. But, in the world of paranormal, death isn't always final. After centuries of Kathryn's spirit being a guardian to the Harris family, she seizes the opportunity to become alive again. Using a host body works just fine for her except, the owner of the body wants it back. Callie's love for her husband and daughter make her a fighter. Callie Harris wants her life back and is determined to see it happen. The pasture, a field of beauty filled with enchantment, is a life source for both Callie and Kathryn. It has healing powers left in its soil by witches of long ago. The end of the pasture would mean Kathryn and Callie would no longer exist. Callie, her husband Paul and their daughter Megan must stand, side by side with the descendants of those responsible for Kathryn's death. Callie wants her body back but Kathryn needs it to feel alive again.
