Christopher Landin studied English and art in Saginaw, MI, where he lives with his wife and two children. Many have compared his style to Dean Koontz and Steven King though he credits his style and voice to Homer and William Zinsser. He draws his inspiration from contemporary Christianity and ancient mythologies from Rome, Greece, and also has credited Native American Folklore. Landin grew up with deep discontent with writing, stating "It was mundane and boring". It wasn't until he was introduced to creative writing in college where he found his calling. "It was like taking the ball and chain off. like seeing a new world for the first time". He has written several graphic novels and short stories but is currently focusing his time on novels.
