The People Next Door (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781807439347)

A new life in the English countryside is about to turn deadly...

I thought this move would be our fresh start. A beautiful old house in rural Norfolk. Quiet, secluded and safe - that's what Ash my boyfriend, promised me. And at first, it is...

Until I meet the neighbours.

Benjamin is friendly, almost too eager to please. But his sister, Virginia, is different. Silent. Distant. Always watching.

Then I learn what happened to the last person who lived here - how they vanished without a trace.

With Ash away on business, the house no longer feels empty. I hear footsteps when no one's there. Doors creak open in the night. Something moves in the dark.

I tell myself it's nothing. But the feelings won't go away. I feel like I am being watched.

And then I start to wonder if coming here was a terrible mistake because I'm not sure I'll ever leave this house alive. ** The thriller not to be missed for fans of Freida McFadden, Claire McGowan and Lisa Jewell.**
