The Power Of Slow Living: My Journey To Simplicity (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798307757604)

I had a wave of calm as soon as I left my comfortable little hut and into the clear morning air. The undulating hills and verdant trees all around me were bathed in a warm glow as the sun began to rise. I started my morning ritual after taking a deep breath and felt the cool air fill my lungs. I began by watering my garden softly and observing the dew-kissed petals as they opened to welcome the new day. My senses came alive as the air was filled with the aroma of fresh earth and blossoming flowers. I enjoyed the sounds of nature while I worked, including the rustle of leaves, the singing of birds.

It was a symphony of sounds that the beat of my heart seemed to match. I returned inside to begin my day with a silent period of introspection when I was done in the garden. I watched the world around me come to life while enjoying a hot cup of coffee on my patio. I had adopted a slow-living lifestyle. After years of living in the fast lane, never stopping to appreciate the beauty around me, and always hurrying from one duty to the next, I made the decision.
