She has founded and facilitates 'Women on the Move', a professional organization for women seeking to be empowered and transformed through life's journey. Since the year 2009, the organization has sponsored a free annual health and career faire for the entire City of Oakland. Special guests include, Cheryl Lee Ralph, KRON 4 news anchor, Pam Moore and Mayor Jean Quan. As a former corporate executive and school teacher, she integrates her professional background and corporate experience to empower others to maximize their talents and abilities. She is an advocate for women, their healing and empowerment. Pastor Maria graduated from San Francisco State University with a B.A. in Business Marketing and John F. Kennedy University holding a M.B.A. in Business Management.
