Felicity Green has been practicing yoga since 1962 and is one of the first Advanced Iyengar Certified teachers. Having studied extensively with BKS Iyengar since 1970 in India, she has been one of his advanced level teachers since the 1980s. She has also studied intensively with Swami Radha of the Sivananda tradition, who has also contributed to her personal yoga and teaching style. She has produced many instructional books, tapes, and CD her videos can be found on youtube. She invented Creaky Yoga when she found the biggest fear for old people was to fall down and not being able to get back up. Creaky Yoga teaches Students to have the strength and flexibility to be able to get down on the floor and be able to get back up. There are many classes of Creaky Yoga being taught around the world She was the 2008 recipient of the Lighting the Way Award from Iyengar Yoga National Association of the United States. Green used to teach workshops internationally, and now offers individual sessions on Lopez Island. She enjoys writing and is working on 2 new books that will come out in 2018
