Bob Aberdeen, once a high school and college championship quarterback, has fallen on hard times. Well, not really. He thinks he has. His rich parents tell him he needs to buy a house and get married and have children but he doesn't see the point. Instead of trying to get a better job, or improve his life, Bob would rather get drunk and think about past glory and how much better his life was "back in the day."And with nothing on the horizon, Bob comes up with a plan. An escape plan to quit his dumb job and sell all of his possessions and move to Hawaii. A total reset as an anonymous person a million miles away from his hometown of Manceford, Pa, is the only way he thinks he can keep going on with life. He's not ready just yet though.
