The Protestant Exiles of Zillerthal: Their Persecutions and Expatriation From the Tyrol, On Separating From the Romish Church and Embracing the Reform (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781146095969)

"The Protestant Exiles of Zillerthal" recounts the compelling story of a community in the Tyrolean Alps who faced persecution and ultimately expatriation due to their embrace of the Reformed faith. Written by Georg Friedrich Heinrich Rheinwald and translated/edited by John B. Saunders, this historical account details the trials and tribulations endured by these Protestant exiles as they separated from the Romish Church. The book offers a window into the religious conflicts of the 19th century and highlights the struggles for religious freedom and the price paid by those who dared to defy established religious norms. This narrative serves as a testament to the enduring power of faith and the sacrifices made in pursuit of religious conviction.
