The Raw Canine Anxiety offers a new lens on one of the most misunderstood issues in the lives of our dogs: anxiety.
If you've tried different approaches and still feel that something's missing, or if you've come to suspect that canine anxiety is part of a much wider, deeper problem, this book invites you to look further. Into the body, the nervous system, and the everyday experiences that shape your dog's emotional world.
If the dog suffers from separation anxiety, chronic stress, reactivity, or fear of noises like fireworks or thunderstorms, this guide will help you understand the root causes and explore a holistic, body-mind approach to reduce anxiety naturally.
Written by a certified canine therapist and behavior specialist, this book brings together current research in neurobiology, nutrition, movement, and emotional regulation. You'll discover:
What anxiety looks like in dogs (and what it hides)
How posture, fascia and pain contribute to behavioral issues
Why training alone often isn't enough for anxious dogs
How to support the dog through manual therapy, diet, and daily routines
Tools to create calm without suppressing natural behavior
Canine anxiety has been called a modern epidemic, affecting millions of dogs worldwide, and growing despite the best efforts of many. Perhaps it's because we're not looking at the whole picture. Anxiety is multifactorial: it lives in the brain, the body, the environment, and the relationship.
The Raw Canine Anxiety is a bridge: between behavior and biology, science and empathy, structure and flexibility. It's written for caregivers, trainers, educators and therapists who want to move beyond symptom management and toward lasting, integrative change.
Because when we understand better, we help better, and every anxious dog deserves that.
