The Recipe for Rainy Days: Volume 2 (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798241353832)

"I realized I would rather eat your dumplings every day for the rest of my life than taste another sphere of green apple foam. You are the only recipe that works."

The storm has passed, but the real choice has just begun.

Elias Thorne has found a fragile peace in Oar's Rest, his senses reawakened by the rustic magic of the village and the love of Clara Miller. But the past is not so easily discarded. When his agent arrives in a black car with a contract for the "perfect" silent kitchen in London-a multi-million pound sanctuary designed to soothe his specific neuroses-Elias is torn.

Does he return to the heights of the culinary world, reclaiming his crown as the King of Chefs? Or does he stay in a drafty cottage with a chaotic baker, risking his legacy for a life of obscurity?

As Elias struggles with the seduction of his old life, a new challenge arises: the arrival of the terrifying food critic who once destroyed him. With the future of The Comfort Kitchen hanging in the balance, Elias and Clara must prove that a meal made with love can outshine the brightest star.

A story of commitment, community, and the courage to rewrite the menu of your life.
