She remained underground for nearly two hours till she was found and unearthed. Beginning in the early 1990's, she spent over seven years in Kyrgyzstan and over three years in Taiwan, teaching young adults English while befriending them with the good news of Christ. She has also lived short term in Kenya, Uzbekistan, Thailand, Russia and China. In 2004, she received her Masters in TESOL from Azusa Pacific, California.
