The Rowan Five and the Whispers of Ashwyke (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781918483185)

Ashwyke Hall has kept its secrets for over a century.

Perched on the cliffs and steeped in tradition, the school presents itself as a place of discipline, excellence, and history. Generations of students have passed through its halls without question, accepting its rituals, its rules, and its carefully preserved image. Most never look beyond what they are meant to see.

But some minds don't work that way.

The Rowan Five notice things others overlook. They think differently, process differently, question differently. Where others see coincidence, they see pattern. Where others accept, they analyse. And when five students who don't follow the same rules all begin to notice the same inconsistencies, it becomes impossible to ignore.

It starts small.

A door that is always locked, but never spoken about. Records that should exist, but don't. Dates that don't align. Spaces that feel... wrong. At first, each of them holds their observations alone, unsure whether to trust what they're seeing. But when their paths cross, the fragments begin to form something far more unsettling.

A pattern.

The deeper they look, the more Ashwyke begins to unravel.

Archived documents have been altered. Entire sections of the school's history are missing. Certain names appear, disappear, and reappear where they shouldn't. Staff deflect questions too quickly. Corridors seem to hold echoes of something long buried. And at the centre of it all lies a truth that someone has worked very hard to keep hidden.

This isn't an accident.

The past hasn't been lost. It has been deliberately erased.

As the Rowan Five begin to piece together what was taken, they realise they are not just uncovering history, they are disturbing it. The closer they get to the truth, the more resistance they face. Subtle at first. Then undeniable.

Warnings.

Shifts in behaviour. Doors that should open, suddenly don't. Information that vanishes just as they reach it. It becomes clear that Ashwyke is not just a place that holds secrets, it protects them.

And now, it knows they're looking.

Each of the five brings something different to the search: logic, intuition, memory, pattern recognition, and perspective. Alone, their insights might be dismissed. Together, they form something far more powerful, a way of seeing the school as it truly is.

Not as it presents itself.

But as it was.

And as it still might be.

Five students. Five perspectives. One conspiracy buried deep within the walls of Ashwyke Hall.

A legacy built on silence. A history rewritten. And a truth that refuses to stay hidden any longer.

Because once you see the pattern...

You can't unsee it.
