The Second System: A Psychological Mystery Thriller of Memory, Identity, and a Hidden Past (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798177908564)

Daniel Tan thought he knew who he was.

Then he discovered a record that said he had never existed.

A photograph from years ago. A missing stretch of his past. A dead man who may not be dead. And a mysterious system capable of changing what people remember-and what the world accepts as truth.

As Daniel follows a trail buried beneath old records and forgotten identities, he discovers that his family's history is connected to a secret organization that has spent years manipulating the line between memory and reality.

But the deeper Daniel goes, the more disturbing the questions become.

Who was the real Gabriel Tan?

Why were there different versions of the same person?

Who is watching Daniel from the shadows?

And if someone's entire identity can be rewritten, how do you prove who you really are?

In a mystery where memories can be altered, witnesses can disappear, and the truth can exist in more than one version, Daniel must uncover what happened before the system decides his story for him.

The Second System is a suspenseful psychological mystery thriller about identity, memory, secrets, and the search for a truth that refuses to stay buried.
