To protect both Casey and the president, Colt offers a final solution to The Core that could see him sacrificing his own life for the safety of those he loves.

Though sickness and danger, intrigue and peace, death eventually touches the lives of all concerned, but it doesn't end the true love of Colt and Casey. Their love story transcends the ages.
