In her opinion, both their wisdom and their desire to inculcate their wisdom into the following generations should be commemorated. Chrysopoeia is the continuation of the story of a secondary character, Jaxson Wilson, from the author's second book The Accidental Mother. In this story he redeems himself, refining the dross of his previous mistakes and bad habits into "gold", when he encounters the people who give his life purpose. The Sieve of Morpheus and the poems describe persons (including the author) experiencing events, or in some other fashion, coming to the realization that they are ready to submit themselves to the refining fire and the waters of regeneration in order to advance toward their unified Self.
