Kenton Adler was born in Camden, Arkansas, and raised in Arkansas and Colorado. He learned to play guitar from a Monkees songbook, but is first and foremost a Beatles fan. He was a meteorologist in the United States Navy. Ken studied Psychology and Art at Metropolitan State College of Denver, and American history at The University of Arkansas (where he did not write his Master's thesis). He has played guitar in a number of good rock bands, and has written a lot of songs you will probably never hear. He has the best untrained voice that one guy at Jeannie's Upper Deck had ever heard. Ken took up the Great Highland Bagpipe in 1995, and has served as Pipe Major of the Ozark Highlanders in Fayetteville, AR. He has been the instructor for Oklahoma Scottish Pipes and Drums, and served three terms on the executive committee of the Eastern United States Pipe Band Association. Ken was lucky enough a few years ago to meet and marry the beautiful and talented Nancy Love. The two have traveled together in Scotland, France, and Switzerland, as well as parts of the U.S. They live with their magnificent Irish Wolfhound, Cuchullain, in a house the size of an aircraft carrier in Batesville, AR where Ken is the Academic Computing Coordinator for Lyon College, and a piper in the Lyon College Pipe Band. A raccoon lives in the attic.
